Approved by the Ministry of Education in 2010, the Master of Insurance Program is one of the first universities in China to obtain the authorization point of Master of Insurance degree. It enrolled students since 2011 and has enrolled about 30 students every year for the past three years. The master's program has 7 in-school supervisors, including 2 professors, 2 associate professors, and 6 supervisors with doctoral degrees, accounting for 85.7% of the doctoral degrees. In recent years, this master's program has undertaken more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial projects, and a number of horizontal projects; published 3 monographs; openly published more than 100 papers in journals such as Insurance Research, Economic Theory and Economic Management, and Macroeconomic Research. The degree program has three research directions: Property and Liability Insurance, Life and Health Insurance, and Actuarial Insurance.
