The School of Finance Successfully Held the 2023 Graduate Academic Forum

On April 24th, the 2023 Graduate Academic Forum of the school of finance was successfully held in the conference room on the second floor of the Qiuzhen Building. Wu Xinyu, Vice Dean of the School of Finance, Zhou Xiaoxiao, teacher of the Department of Financial Investment, and Xu Yang, teacher of the Department of Financial Science and Technology, attended the forum and served as judges. Some graduate students and relevant staff members of the institute attended the forum, which was presided over by Xie Tao, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the School of Finance.

Vice Dean Wu Xinyu emphasized the importance of holding this forum and affirmed the active participation of students in academic exchanges. He hoped that students could use the forum platform to continuously improve the quality of paper writing and cultivate noble academic literacy. At the meeting, the attending speakers presented their papers in sequence, and the judges and teachers provided professional comments on the content of the reports. A total of 65 works were received in this academic forum, and after multiple rounds of competition such as duplication check, preliminary review, and final review, a total of 12 works entered the defense stage. In the end, Zhao An won the first prize; Qian Jia and Jiang Zhengting won the second prize; Lin Junjie, Zhao Weina, and Tan Yuan won the third prize, while Li Xuanxuan, Zhuang Chunliu, Zhang Zhiwei, Xie Fangyuan, Wu Cuiping, and Jiang Chengfei won the Excellence Award.

The Graduate Academic Forum is not only a showcase of the achievements of graduate students in academic research and practical innovation, but also a review of the effectiveness of graduate training. The smooth convening of this forum is conducive to stimulating the enthusiasm for scientific research and innovation among our graduate students, cultivating their research and practical abilities, and contributing to the development of the school and discipline construction.
