Professor Ding Zhongming Won a Major Project Supported by the National Social Science Foundation

 On April 8, 2022, the National Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences announced the list of major projects supported by the National Social Science Fund for studying and interpreting the spirits of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. The project Research on Financial Support for Achieving the Goal of Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality with Professor Ding Zhongming of our university as the chief expert was approved and funded.

 On the basis of systematically combing the existing research results and practical experience, this project focuses on the overall research question of financial support research to achieve the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, starting to study the financial support measures to achieve the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality from two dimensions of active government and effective market, exploring the financial support system in line with China's national conditions, promoting the steady progress of China's ecological civilization construction and comprehensive deepening of reform, and promoting comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable economic and social development.

 The major projects of the National Social Science Foundation are the highest-level, most funded, most authoritative and most competitive projects in the field of national philosophy and social science research at this stage, and are regarded by the social science community as an important symbol to measure the strength of scientific research and the ability of scientific research organization, and have attracted widespread attention from all walks of life. In recent years, the school attaches great importance to the cultivation and application of high-level scientific research projects, focusing on improving the ability to organize, plan and obtain national-level major projects, especially organizing scientifically in the early stage for the cultivation of major projects, expert consultation and demonstration, etc., and grasping all key links of project application to ensure the quality of projects. The approval of this major project of the National Social Science Fund reflects the good momentum of scientific research development in our university, and fully demonstrates the research strength and comprehensive level of our university in major issues in the field of philosophy and social sciences.
